About Miguel Padilla

Miguel Padilla has been a rock musician for most of his life, fronting his bands Dora Flood, The Soft Bombs, and Michael and the Machines.

Since 2014, he has also played boleros from Mexico and Latin America, the music of his family heritage.

His love of this music fueled his search for its roots, leading him to a deep love for Flamenco. He has since become a requested accompanist for the flamenco 

dancers in Sacramento. Recently, he lived in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, for 16 months and studied under the new guard of flamenco family dynasties.
